William is survived by his wife and the love of his life, Lucilla Roser; son, William D. Bill's purpose in creating this web page was to provide shooting and reloading information to people interested in the shooting sports.

This site will no longer be updated.

Bill always considered Skeeter Skelton to be one of the most entertaining writers in the firearms arena. Though Skeeter's been gone for over 20 years, we think you'll find his articles interesting and often fun to read.

For topics of a more current nature, I would strongly encourage everyone to read Colonel Dan's essays. They are well written and very informative.

Some of Bill's Favorite Quotes:

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things; the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks nothing is worth a war, is worse. A man who has nothing which he cares more about than he does about his personal safety is a miserable creature who has no chance at being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

- John Stuart Mill

"Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. The Marines don't have that problem"

- Ronald Reagan

"An unarmed man can only flee from evil, and evil is not overcome by fleeing from it."
- Jeff Cooper

"If guns cause crime, all of mine are defective."
- Ted Nugent

One day I was speeding along at the typewriter, and my daughter - who was a child at the time - asked me, "Daddy, why are you writing so fast?" And I replied, "Because I want to see how the story turns out!"
